About Yahata elementary school

Yahata Elementary School was established in the company dormitory of Okusawa Shrine now in Meiji 12, celebrating the 137th anniversary of this year. School songs are made by graduates of Showa 13 as "Song of Yahata School", and it is a school with a history and tradition that was supported by a lot of graduates, communities, parents and guardians.

Currently, we are promoting "Setagaya 9 Year Education" with "Yahata Junior High School" as a "Sagisou Gakusya" and Kuhonbutu Elementary School. As a community-based school, elementary school and junior high school cooperate and nurture children.

In addition, our school is designated by Setagaya Ward as a support school for overseas returnees and foreign nationals, and sets the time for Japanese teaching for the child concerned.

We will foster children through various situations so that each individual has their own opinions and can deepen their thoughts, and we will cultivate "independence and the foundation of autonomy".
